A ROOM FOR NO ONE

The Room for No One playset is a kit designed much like a doll house set. Each of the elements found in Loos’ Room for Lina, the rug, the bed, two night stands, and two pillows, are provided in five different color ways and varying materials. All packed into a mirrored box outfitted with paper curtains modeled after the curtains found in the original space. Made at an arbitrary scale, each component was scaled to proportionally fit inside the 7”x9 3/4”x 6” packaging.

Titled a room for “no one” because the intention is that the room is a blank face, meant to be the reflection, both literally and figuratively, of the user, their personal aesthetic preferences and/or mood; a space for no one, and everyone.
