FCE MANNEQUIN

Inspired by Adolf Loos’ unbuilt “Baker House” designed for Josephine Baker in 1928, a faceless and genderless mannequin to serves as the muse for architectural facial studies. For the purposes of this initial study a ‘face’ is defined as a multi-layered concave surface. To reference the temporality of a cosmetic look, the face is put on and taken off just as easily as one applies or removes a makeup look.
